Flat in the Historic Spa Town Of Eger Hungary

Recently renovated flat in the spa town of Eger in Hungary, with beautiful views of the city. Ideal for couples or small families, or anyone wanting a holiday in Eger. The flat has a Bedroom with a double bed and there is also a sofabed in the sitting room. So although we say it is for 2 people we could squeeze in up to four, perhaps if you have small children or if you are backpackers who want to stay somewhere cheap.

There are many things to see in Eger, including

The Castle
The volcanic spas, there are three, one in the centre of the city and two a short car journey away.
The Basilica, a 17th century baroque cathedral, the 2nd largest in Hungary.

The Minaret, built by the Turks, when Eger was part of their empire
The Valley of the Beautiful Women, a valley on the southern edge of the city with numerous wine cellars cut into the cliff. 

Eger is situated at the Southern foot of the Bükk mountains, the largest national park in Hungary.  This is full of beautiful forests, karst formations and caves which were once inhabited by pre historic man.  For horse lovers, at the village of  Szilvásvárad the world famouse Lipicai horses are bred, for you can  to go trecking through the mountains. There is also an adventure park for those keen on extreme sports.
