Select + Feature grade: This grade applies to prefinished solid timber flooring supplied by Sliven Blue Consulting Company and consists of 75% Select grade and 25% Feature grade. This grade offers the modern appearance of select grade whilst maintaining the charm of real solid timber.

MERBAU offers a wide range of colour variability from light to dark browns. Many pieces will have a yellow dust in the pores that show up as gold “flecking” when finished.

Note: It’s is normal to have colour variations within timber species as it’s a natural product. Samples and pictures are only an indication of the colour range.

The hardness of Merbau is 8.6 kN (Janka rating). The Janka hardness scale is the industry standard for judging the ability of a particular species to withstand denting and wear.
