Direct from Spain, Paloma Gómez, former principal dancer with the Ballet Nacional de España together with Studio Flamenco presents the intensity and vitality of flamenco in music, song and dance. Paloma began dancing at the age of three and was taught by the masters of Spanish dance including: María de Avila, José Antonio (current director of the Ballet Nacional de España) and Paco Romero. At the age of 17 she joined the Ballet Nacional de España where she danced for 4½ years before joining the Nuevo Ballet Español and later establishing her own dance company. Paloma currently tours throughout Europe, USA, Canada and Asia.Her Australian tour has been proudly supported by the Australian National University, the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Arts SA.One night only in Adelaide - don't miss this exciting opportunity to experience flamenco at its best.
