This instrument came out of a players estate and is being sold as a part of the estate settlement. The instrument is in nearly pristine condition. The peg holes have been recently bushed and there is a small repaired top crack just in from the lower corner on the instruments bass side (over the corner block). Otherwise, the instrument is perfect. All aspects of setup have been expertly considered. Please feel free to ask any questions. The instrument has a dark colorful sound of excellent quality. Extremely handsome red-orange varnish over a golden ground. One piece evenly flamed back. The label is easy to read in the attached photo , though the year is a bit difficult to discern. A certificate made in 1974 by Peter Paul Prier describes the instrument in detail and attests the instruments authenticity.This document will be provided with the instrument.
